Temperature Controller - CD66 1/16 DIN

Overview.

The CD66 PID Controller offers all the advanced features you expect from a modern temperature controller, including a high-performance display for excellent readability.

Available with dual analogue input, the CD66 allows you to manage two processes with separate control loops or perform mathematical operations between them, such as sum, difference, or average.

The controller supports multiple output options, including command mode, various alarm modes, and analog retransmission of process or setpoint values.

For network communication, the controller uses an RS485 serial connection with the Modbus-RTU protocol. The versatile power supply, with 24Vac or dc and 115/230Vac versions, add flexibility and ensures stable performance even during power fluctuations.

Key Benefits

  • Sophisticated control ability for heating and cooling applications plus auto/manual control & tuning
  • Soft start feature allows a slow ramp up to setpoint value
  • Dual inputs provide math function control (Sum, Difference & Average between 2 inputs)
  • Pre-programmed profile with ramp, dwell and cooling
  • An intuitive display provides clear values of set & actual temperature, control and alarm status
  • Ability to externally switch between 2 to 4 setpoints, to enable/disable tuning, auto/manual mode and timer run/stop
  • Timer flexibility (2 functions can be set independently, sequentially or looped together)
  • Connect seamlessly with your management software via RS485 Comms

Feature Highlights

  • Heat only, Cool only or Heat & Cool PID control
  • 2 Analogue inputs user configurable for thermocouple, PT100 or DC Linear (mA or V)
  • 2 Control Outputs (Relay, SSR drive or DC Linear (mA or V)
  • Up to 3 Relay Ouputs
  • 4 Digital Inputs/Outputs
  • Remote Setpoint
  • Heater Break Alarm
  • RS485 Modbus Comms
